ELECTION RESEARCH · 2026

National scope.
Local decisions.

Explore ballot questions and election records across all 50 states, D.C. and five inhabited territories. Enter an address or choose a community to see the research available for that location. Local coverage varies; check your official ballot for every contest.

City and town suggestions use a public place-name index. Street suggestions send what you type to Photon / OpenStreetMap. Address lookup uses the U.S. Census Bureau and, where available, official district maps. We do not save your address in an application database. You can turn suggestions off or browse by state.

THE STANDARD

A useful guide should
show its work.

Our guides explain what proposals change, who benefits and what the evidence says about costs. Each report identifies its research status and local gaps. Sources and dates let you check the work. You decide how to vote.

01

Separate benefits from beneficiaries.A project can serve the public while also paying contractors or benefiting particular institutions. We identify those interests when the records support them.

02

Keep facts, claims and estimates distinct.Candidate promises, allegations, court outcomes and fiscal projections are labeled accordingly.

03

Say what we don’t know. When we cannot find a candidate’s platform, a contractor’s name or a reliable tax estimate, we say so. Check the update date and linked sources for later developments.
